The Bible is no ordinary book. It is the only book in the world that can empower you to become what it says you can become simply by reading it.
“…humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.”
James 1:21 NLT
“Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.”
Psalms 119:11 NKJV
The Bible is not only the best-selling book of all time—according to Guinness Book Of World Records, it is consistently the #1 best-seller every single year, closing in on sales of more than 7 billion!
More Bibles were sold in 2025 than in any previous year, with estimates suggesting that over 100 million copies are distributed worldwide annually, in hundreds of languages and formats.
What other book can claim such enduring, increasing influence? This is not the mark of an ordinary book.
The Bible is unquestionably supernatural—inspired by God, written through men divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit.
“Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding, or from human initiative. No, those prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God.”
2 Peter 1:20-21 NLT
It is alive and powerful, able to transform lives, bring hope, and enable you to become what it says you can become.
As you read it, something miraculous happens, faith begins to rise in your heart.
“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).
Faith is simply what you believe about God and what you believe God believes about you… Morris Cerullo called it our sixth sense. It is the most important yet many times most neglected thing in your life.
The Bible is not just information; it is a divine revelation of who God says He really is and who He says you really. It births genuine faith – reconnects you to the living God who created you – your source of strength – and to your God-ordained destiny!
The Bible says the scriptures are for your hope and encouragement…
“Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled.”
Romans 15:4 NLT
There has not been a single day that I have begun in the word of God that I have not been encouraged and strengthened by God’s word…not one!
📖 The Bible Points to Jesus From Beginning to End
The Bible — 66 books, 40 authors, written over 1,500 years — has one central message: Jesus Christ is Lord.
Jesus made it clear:
“You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me! If you really believed Moses, you would believe me, because he wrote about Me.”
(John 5:39, 46 NLT)
“Beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning Himself.”
(Luke 24:27 NLT)
God and His word are one. You can’t really love God without loving His word!
The Old Testament is the preparation. The Gospels are the manifestation. The book of Acts is the propagation. The Epistles are the explanation. Revelation is the consummation.
🕊 Jesus: The Word Made Flesh — And The Greatest Student of the Word
The Bible calls Jesus the Word made flesh (John 1:14). But consider this: there may never have been a greater student of the Scriptures, as a man, than Jesus Christ Himself. Though He was the living Word, Jesus continually referred back to the Scriptures to explain who He was, why He came, and what He was doing.
✅ Jesus quoted the Old Testament 78 times.
✅ The apostles quoted or referred to it over 209 times.
To them, the Scriptures were the final authority, the foundation of their power, and the source of their message. When Jesus was tempted, He didn’t argue — He said, “It is written.” When the apostles preached, they pointed back to what God had already said.
“And you know that the Scriptures cannot be altered.”
(John 10:35 NLT)
If the Scriptures were the foundation of Jesus’ ministry and the apostles’ message and miracles, how much more should they be the foundation of our lives?
🌟 The Priority, Power, and Purpose of the Word
The Bible is the best-selling book of all time, but its power is not in its popularity — it’s in the life it gives and the change it produces.
“Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.”
(Proverbs 30:5 NLT)
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.”
(2 Timothy 3:16 NLT)
The greatest thing that Scripture corrects is what we believe about God and what we believe God believes about us! I call this the greatest battle over our lives because Satan knows that what we believe about God will either attract us to Him or repel us from Him.
The Word is a living seed planted in your heart. It contains the power to save and transform:
“So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.”
(James 1:21 NLT)
🌱 The Key To The Parable Of The Sower
Jesus began His teaching ministry with the Parable of the Sower, a message so foundational that He said it holds the key to understanding all the other parables.
In this simple yet powerful illustrated message, Jesus revealed that the measure of our fruitfulness, growth, and breakthrough in life is directly connected to how we receive and value the Word of God.
The seed is always good—the difference is in how we take it in, how deeply we let it take root, and how much room we give it to grow.
This parable calls us to treasure God’s Word.
“The seed that fell on good soil represents those who truly hear and understand God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!”
(Matthew 13:23 NLT)
“Pay close attention to what you hear. The closer you listen, the more understanding you will be given — and you will receive even more.”
(Mark 4:24 NLT)The greatest atomic habit in your life is spending time planting the seed of God’s word in your mind and in your heart!
🔑 The Word of God: The Key to Knowing God
God gave us His Word so that we could truly know Him.
“But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I am the Lord who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth.”
(Jeremiah 9:23-24 NLT)
“Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.”
(Colossians 1:10 NLT)
💡 The Word Of God Is Alive And Powerful And Should Be Read Daily!
“For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword… It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.”
(Hebrews 4:12 NLT)
Kings were commanded to read the Word daily to stay humble, obedient, and faithful:
“When he sits on the throne as king, he must copy for himself this body of instruction on a scroll in the presence of the Levitical priests. He must always keep that copy with him and read it daily as long as he lives. That way he will learn to fear the Lord his God by obeying all the terms of these instructions and decrees. This regular reading will prevent him from becoming proud and acting as if he is above his fellow citizens. It will also prevent him from turning away from these commands in the smallest way. And it will ensure that he and his descendants will reign for many generations in Israel.”
Deuteronomy 17:18-20 NLT
🌍 The Enduring Testimony of Scripture
The Bible’s truth is confirmed by fulfilled prophecy, archaeology, history, and the survival of Israel — a people who, despite being scattered for nearly 2,000 years, retain their identity even to this day – as God foretold.
The Bible stands alone.
It contains 2,500 prophecies—not one has failed.
No other religious book dares to speak of the future… because if they did, they’d be proven false.
The Quran (Islam), Bhagavad Gita and Vedas (Hinduism), Guru Granth Sahib (Sikhism), Tripitaka (Buddhism), Tao Te Ching (Taoism), Zend Avesta (Zoroastrianism), and even the Book of Mormon (Latter-day Saints) contain spiritual teachings, philosophy, and moral guidance—but none of them contain specific, verifiable prophecies that have come to pass like the Bible does.
Only the God of the Bible declares the end from the beginning.
(Isaiah 46:10)
🚀 The Call: Make the Word of God Your Daily Bread
We don’t need to live primarily on a diet of prophetic voices and dreams when God has already given us His living unchanging Word.
“Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.”
(Joshua 1:8 NLT)
Psalms 119 (the longest chapter in the Bible) is King David’s record of his love affair with God’s word. Here’s his prayer every time he went to read the Scriptures:
“Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law.”
Psalms 119:18 NKJV
Today — as you open your Bible let God reveal to you wondrous things about Himself to you – and encourage you and fill you with hope and strength to fulfill the great plans He has for You!
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
